Founded in 1993, AYTAC Red Meat and White Meat, Feed and Breeding Plant was established on total area of 912.000 m2 in the Middle of Anatolia (near Cankiri City). Aytac A.S. is an integrated meat plant incorporated with the World Bank participation. AYTAC is one of the largest integrated investment in the World. In its facilities all operations (from the very beginning of process) including animal feeding, preparation for slaughter, slaughtering, production and delivery of ready packaged meat and meat products are at European standards, thanks to highly sophisticated ERP systems. Quality control is being done in all stages of production by experienced veterinarian and food engineers. Aytac’s quality system is TUV, HACCP, ISO9000, ISO 22000 certified. AYTAC’s plant capacity is 8000 slaughters/hour. 100.000 chicken and 5000 turkeys daily production in Cerkes City (near capital city Ankara). All Aytac Products are %100 Halal. AYTAC which also has chemical and biological purification facilities was rewarded with 1994 Environmental Technology Applicators Association Rewards and 1994 Ministry of Environment, Reward for preserving the environment. Aytac has 12% market share of the advanced at processed meat market in Turkey according to the data by IPSOS (KMG). It is the second leading company within this market segment. The leading company has 14-15 % market share . Aytac is among the first 500 Industrial companies within the top 500 corporations list publication by Istanbul Chamber of Industry.It has risen 80 steps in the Chamber of Industry's top 500 list and became the 249 th one(in 2005) and 229 th one(in 2006). Aytac also ranked 6 th in the most export increase Company list of Chamber of Industry list (2005). The turnover of Aytac is nearly USD 300.000.000 - average per year (2005).
