Since 1830’s, the Bese family serves for the traditional taste of halva. This journey begins in 1850’s in Manisa. After 130 years of experience, our brand got registered in 1885. Effendi Haji Ahmet built his first halva facility in Manisa. Then, just like Turkey growing in the early years of the Republic, our company grew and developed too. After the big Manisa fire, Ziya Ahmet Manisali relocated the production center to Izmir. The historical Havra Street which extends from Agora to Kestanepazari, became the home of the best halva in Aegean Region. Also, in the 1930’s, new factories in Istanbul, Zonguldak and Adana, joined to family.
