Gönen Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., has started the production of carpet in Kahramanmaras at 1990 on 16.000 m2 closed and total 18.500 m2 area. Switching to integrated plant in 1993, a production facility of Half Camgarn yarn, which is used in the carpet production, was build.
