We, GENECOS TRADING LTD are a North America based packaging company founded by graphic designers and packaging engineers who saw a massive opportunity to disrupt the printing and packaging industries. With the aim to serve both the printing and packaging industries we found that all paper solutions and in particular cardboard packaging albeit recyclable, are actually a huge draw on human resources. Don't misunderstand us, we believe it is better to recycle rather than not recycle BUT conventional pulp which is needed to make paper and cardboard packaging is made, from cutting down tons of trees and using gallons of water. There are also huge amounts of energy required during the original manufacturing and the recycling stages. Cardboard that is made from trees is simply not an eco-friendly product and there is no need for it in this day and age where other raw materials are more sustainable.
