Founded in 1980 under the name of PRIMACONTROL Snc, the company is an independent laboratory wanted by the two founding partners to the aim of offering technical-operational assistance for product certification to all small and medium sized companies. Right from the start, the service was offered with a view to satisfy the real requirements and needs of manufacturers of household and similar appliances and throughout the years it has become a reference point and a support to guarantee product safety and performance. As the years went by, its field of operation and its expertise gradually increased to the extent of becoming the laboratory of the principle National and International Certification Institutes that subsequently became actual acknowledgements. All this contributed to increasing the technical know-how on standards of our technicians. Since 1998, the laboratory has become part of the IMQ group as an independent structure and has continued its customer support and assistance policy, bolstering the presence of the group in north-east Italy . A special aim was that of strengthening assistance to companies on all the sectors covered by the IMQ group, especially in the gas, electric and solid fuel sectors, for many types of products and in particular for catering, heating and camping equipment. In line with the IMQ policy, on the one hand our work is directed to companies interested in increasing the value of its products and on the other to the end user, ascertaining that products correspond to established technical standards with particular reference to safety.
