Founded by Kamil Barlin in 1982 Barsan Global Lojistik ( BGL ) quickly grew to become Turkey's largest customs brokers and from 1990 began to extend beyond customs operations to provide integrated logistics solutions including land, sea, and air transport, and warehousing. By 1995 BGL were able to offer warehousing services in most of Turkey's commercial locations and began to invest in other countries towards the ambition to become a global logistics provider. Today, still under the ownership of Kamil Barlin, BGL has 18 regional operations in Turkey along with 25 overseas operations in 13 countries.
